Agreement to Terms
By accessing our website or using Kodiak Heating and Cooling's services, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our services.
Services
Kodiak Heating and Cooling provides residential and light commercial HVAC services including repair, installation, and maintenance of heating and cooling systems in the Charlotte, NC metropolitan area.
Pricing & Payment
- Diagnostic Fee: Our standard diagnostic fee is $89, which is waived if you proceed with the recommended repair.
- Upfront Pricing: We provide written estimates before beginning any work. The price quoted is the price you pay—no hidden fees or surprise charges.
- Payment: Payment is due upon completion of services unless financing has been arranged. We accept cash, check, and major credit cards.
- Financing: Financing options are available through Wells Fargo with approved credit.
Warranties & Guarantees
- Parts Warranty: All parts carry manufacturer warranties, typically ranging from 1-10 years depending on the component.
- Labor Warranty: Our labor is guaranteed for one year from the date of service.
- Satisfaction Guarantee: If you're not satisfied with our work, contact us and we'll make it right.
- Equipment Warranties: New equipment installations include full manufacturer warranties. Extended warranties are available.
Scheduling & Cancellations
- We make every effort to arrive within the scheduled appointment window.
- If you need to cancel or reschedule, please provide at least 24 hours notice.
- Emergency services are available and prioritized based on safety concerns.
Customer Responsibilities
- Provide safe access to HVAC equipment
- Inform us of any known issues or hazards
- Ensure someone 18 or older is present during service
- Maintain equipment according to manufacturer guidelines between service visits
Licensing & Insurance
Kodiak Heating and Cooling is fully licensed (NC License #L.37276), bonded, and insured. All technicians are background-checked and factory-trained.
Limitation of Liability
Kodiak Heating and Cooling's liability is limited to the cost of services provided. We are not responsible for pre-existing conditions, code violations not caused by our work, or damages resulting from customer misuse of equipment.
Text Messaging Terms of Service
By opting in to receive text messages from Kodiak Heating and Cooling, you agree to the following terms:
- Consent: By checking the SMS opt-in box on our website forms, you expressly consent to receive text messages from Kodiak Heating and Cooling at the mobile number you provided.
- Types of Messages: You will receive messages related to HVAC estimates and quotes, appointment scheduling and confirmations, service reminders, and technician status updates.

- Costs: Standard message and data rates from your wireless carrier may apply.

- Liability: Kodiak Heating and Cooling is not responsible for delayed or undelivered messages due to carrier issues or technical problems beyond our control.
